Baking Made Possible
Celebrations bring people together. Whether it’s a birthday, anniversary, milestone, or simply a moment worth remembering, one thing is almost always at the centre of it — cake.
But what happens when the people we care about most are far away?
Bake That Possible was created from the belief that distance should never stop people from celebrating together.
A Global Career Inspired the Idea
The inspiration behind Bake That Possible comes from the international journey of its founder, Ruba Dayoub.
Ruba has spent over two decades working in hospitality, luxury travel, sales, and marketing, helping people create memorable experiences around the world.
Her career has taken her across multiple countries and industries, including roles with globally recognised hospitality brands such as The Savoy Hotel in London and Four Seasons Hotels.
She also lived in Dubai while working on the launch and expansion of the luxury tour operator Elegant Resorts into the GCC market, building relationships and partnerships across the region.
Later, she headed sales for a global airport concierge company, providing VIP travel services and premium airport experiences to international clients.
Through these roles, Ruba developed a deep understanding of global lifestyles, customer service, and the importance of creating memorable moments for people wherever they are in the world.
Discovering a Passion for Cake Design
While building a career in hospitality and travel, Ruba always had a creative side.
Her journey into cake design started unexpectedly.
One day, she decided to bake a cake for a friend’s birthday as a last-minute gesture. What began as a simple act of kindness quickly revealed a hidden passion.
The First Cake
Here is the very first tailored cake Ruba ever created — completely self-taught.
This cake was designed for a friend who loves cats, which inspired the entire theme of the cake.
“I created this piece with deep thought, preparation, and care. Every detail was designed to reflect my friend’s personality and bring joy to her birthday celebration.” Ruba
And when the cake was finally finished, it almost felt too beautiful to cut.
It was hard to eat something that had been created with so much love and creativity.
But that moment revealed something important.
Cakes are not just desserts.
They are edible art that carry stories, emotions, and memories.

From Cakes to a Global Idea
As Ruba continued creating cakes for friends and loved ones, she noticed something.
Even when living in different cities or countries, people still wanted to be part of each other’s celebrations.
But sending a cake across borders is difficult, expensive, and often impossible.
This sparked the idea for something bigger.
What if someone could order a cake from anywhere in the world, and have it made locally by a talented baker in the recipient’s city?
That idea became the foundation for Bake That Possible.
A Marketplace for Celebrations
Bake That Possible connects customers with independent local bakers who can create beautiful cakes for special occasions.
Instead of shipping cakes internationally, the platform allows people to:
• order cakes online from anywhere in the world
• choose a local baker in the destination city
• have the cake freshly prepared and delivered locally
This means someone in New York could order a cake for a birthday in London, Dubai, or other cities as the platform grows.
Celebrations for Everyone — Even Pets
For many people, pets are part of the family.
As a passionate animal lover, Ruba also wanted Bake That Possible to include pet celebration cakes, allowing owners to celebrate birthdays and special moments with their furry companions.
From dog birthday cakes to pet adoption anniversaries, these celebrations bring even more joy to families.
Because every member of the family deserves to celebrate.

The Vision
Bake That Possible is still at the beginning of its journey, but the vision is simple:
To create a global marketplace where people can celebrate important moments together, no matter where they are in the world.
Ruba hopes to capture the smiles of people receiving a special cake from someone who could be thousands of miles away.
Imagine surprising a loved one on the other side of the world with a cake made just for them.
That is the magic Bake That Possible hopes to bring to celebrations everywhere.
Because sometimes the sweetest way to connect with someone… is through cake.
The Inspiration for Bake That Possible
Living and working internationally also revealed something important.
Many people live far away from the people they care about most.
Friends move abroad. Families live on different continents. Careers take people to new cities.
Yet celebrations remain universal.
Ruba realised there should be an easier way for people to celebrate together — even when they cannot be physically present. Maybe blow the candles together via a video call!
This idea became the foundation for Bake That Possible.
